Born in 2021, NeNiKaar is a handcrafted jewellery brand run by me, Niyati. An English Literature student turned jeweller. The name NeNiKaar encapsulates the three most important people, Neeta (Ne/ my mother), Niyati (Ni/me) and the Kaarigars (Kaar/ artisans) who make it all possible.

Each piece is handmade and created using the timeless technique of the lost wax which requires sculpting each piece prior to casting and melting the metal. Born and raised in Mumbai, learned from Jaipur and creating everywhere possible; I am a self-taught metalworker and jeweler. I started producing my pieces using few simple tools and then gradually built up a small studio at home.

I draw inspiration from a variety of things such as surrealist art, patterns, shapes, colors and nature all around. To immortalize my memories and create something more tangible, personal, and timeless is my main motivation to create these fine and delicate metalworks. Creation begins with intuition, guided by experimentation and inquisitivity. All NeNiKaar pieces begins with an idea, shaped by skill and care. Handsculpted individually by me, each piece is one of a kind, distinct and made just for one. It is a process driven by respect for the craft, our team, and the joy of making something meaningful. I design, craft, and wear every piece myself, embedding a part of who I am into every object created. For me, jewelry is more than adornment. It’s a way to connect with others through something deliberate and honest.
